We will be implementing the update to GS1 GDSN version 3.1.3 over the weekend of 4th/5th November.
fmcgProducts will be available throughout the weekend as usual, except for a half-hour downtime on Saturday morning.
3.1.3 mainly consists of technical updates that occur behind the user interface.
IMPORTANT! However, there is one change regarding organic products that affects you as a customer.
The fields D8074, D8073, and D8075 are being discontinued and should no longer be used:
The 3 fields are replaced by D0798 "Organic Product Code":
For customers using Excel import, the code values for D0798 (1..8) are as follows:
- 100% organic|1
- Biodynamic|7
- Disqualified|8
- Not organic|5
- Made with organic ingredients (less than 70% by weight)|4
- Made with organic ingredients (at least 70% by weight)|3
- Conversion|6
- Organic (at least 95% by weight)|2
PS! Unlike GS1Trade Sync, where you have to enter the values in D0798 yourself, fmcg solutions will ensure conversion from D8074 to D0798, so as an fmcgProducts customer, you don't need to do anything.
The conversion from D8074 to D0798 will be:
- Y (D8074) = 1 (D0798)
- N (D8074) = 5 (D0798)
- CON (D8074) = 6 (D0798)
The only thing you need to ensure as a customer is to adjust existing Excel export profiles (add D0798 and remove D8074, D8073, and D8075).
Additionally, 23 new values are being introduced to D8007 "Packaging and Labelling", where the following new labels are significant for the Danish market:
