When a product is sent to a data recipient abroad, the product is first validated and approved by GS1 Denmark. Once the product is approved by GS1 Denmark, it is forwarded to the data pool abroad that handles the respective data recipient.
The response from the foreign data recipient is now displayed in fmcgProducts - example:
The above is an example from GS1 Sweden, which only allows a maximum of 14 characters in the internal item number.
Unfortunately, there is no complete list of validation rules for all recipient countries, but we will continuously adjust our validation rules for abroad, so we "catch" as many validation rules as possible before the product is sent from fmcgProducts.
The above example is now introduced as a validation rule in fmcgProducts along with several others, for instance, that the Item Name (D8258) must be a maximum of 18 characters when the product is sent to Sweden.
