GS1 will be updated over the weekend of 12th and 13th May to the new version 3.1.5.
As an fmcgProducts user, this will mean the following changes from Monday 14th May 2018:
1. The current code value for salt NACL will be replaced by SALTEQ.
Besides needing to use SALTEQ instead of NACL for Excel import going forward, this will not affect you as an fmcgProducts user - fmcg solutions will ensure that ALL current code values are converted from NACL to SALTEQ on existing products.
2. The field "Packed in sales-ready packaging" (D3111) will be introduced as a required field.
Product units will be rejected after 13th May with error 200.087 if the field is not filled in. If you haven't already filled in D3111 on your product units, we recommend that you start updating your product units with D3111 now.
3. Organic information.
With GS1 3.1.5, the free text fields D8073 and D8075 regarding organic certificate and issuer of certificate will be changed to a list of code values. In fmcgProducts, the saved free text values will be displayed but as it is not possible to convert from free text to code values, you as a customer will need to change the fields to the new code values yourself. This can easily be done using Excel export/import.
Note: we will ensure automatic conversion of "Fødevarestyrelsen" and "DK-ØKO-100".
