GS1 worldwide is being upgraded over the weekend of 20th May to release 3.1.23.
This release is a 'large maintenance release' and includes data migration, code list changes, and field changes. The changes will affect existing product data as data is migrated from existing fields to new fields.
After the migration, the following fields will be deleted:
- D8340
- D8013
- D1223
- D8347
- D8156
- D8177 and language field D8178
The following fields have been added as part of the release:
- D5318
- D5317
- D5315
- D5314/D5314Attr
fmcgProducts has been upgraded accordingly to GS1 3.1.23 and we at fmcg solutions will take care of everything. You do not need to do anything.
