On Tuesday, 31 January 2017 at 22:00, we will update fmcgProducts to support the new rules from GS1 in fmcgProducts.
The following 3 changes apply only to food products (not non-food):
- An ingredients list must be provided (D8179)
- Nutritional values must be provided (D8181 etc)
- For food products, the value "Precise" can no longer be used as a unit of measurement for nutritional values.
Additionally, 16 existing validation rules will be changed so that they are no longer required based on the specific GPC code, but apply to all products/rules. Some of the new rules have always been included in fmcgProducts - others have not:
- Supplier item number D8256 (DK16) is already mandatory in fmcgProducts.
