Besides generating PDFs from the overviews in fmcgProducts, it's possible to call a web service in fmcgProducts that returns a PDF.
Syntax:
With the default PDF template for base, packaging unit, and pallet:
http://<instance>.fmcgsolutions.dk/pdf.xsp?gtin=<gtin>
With internal item number:
&itemid=<internal item number>
With internal item number and GS1 unit type, if the internal item number is used across unit types:
&itemid=<internal item number>&unittype=<GS1 unit type>
With country code (otherwise, the country code is assumed to be Denmark/208):
&country=<country code> (or with gtin=<gtin.country code>)
With PDF template:
&template=<name>
Calls to the PDF web service can be saved in the field "URL to information (D8350)" and can be distributed to data recipients via GS1Trade Sync (shown with "1"):
