From a product overview you can send one or more units without opening each product. fmcgProducts sends each selected unit as its hierarchy, using the data recipients already stored on the top unit. Units in the same hierarchy are sent once.
- Open a product overview, for example All active.
- Tick the units you want to send. If nothing is ticked, the menu does nothing.
- Open the menu (the button with three lines) and choose Send to GS1. The label follows the language of fmcgProducts.
- Confirm. A progress indicator covers the page while the send runs.
- When the overview returns, it shows one message for each hierarchy. A sent hierarchy uses the same text as a send from the product. A hierarchy that was not sent shows the product id and the reason.
A unit is skipped when sending is turned off for its target market and company. A Norwegian product uses the same menu item. The send goes to Tradesolution EPD.
If Send to GS1 on this date (X9001) is a future date, the send waits until that date. See Schedule Future Submission to GS1/Tradesolution EPD/DABAS.
To check validation before you send one hierarchy, open the top unit and follow How to send a product hierarchy. To send that hierarchy again to one data recipient, use the resend item on the product.
