On the new pallet, add the old pallet GTIN in D8248. Set Referenced trade item type code (D3172) to Replaced. The new pallet then keeps the EPD number of the old pallet.
Send the new pallet to Tradesolution EPD. See How to send a product hierarchy.
After that send, the old pallet is expired. On the old pallet, D8248 is the new pallet GTIN and D3172 is Replaced by.
