How to create a base unit

A base unit is the product you start from. The case, display and pallet above it are a later step.

  1. On a product overview, choose Create, then New base unit for the target market.
  2. Enter the GTIN (D8165) and choose Continue. The check digit is checked. Continue stays unavailable until the GTIN is valid.
  3. The same GTIN cannot be created twice for that target market. If it already exists, the base unit is not created.
  4. Fill in the product and choose Save.
