Excel import reads the first sheet only.
If the file has more than one sheet, the import still runs and shows a warning: the file contains several sheets, and the first sheet is the one used. The warning names that sheet.
Rows on the other sheets are not imported. Move those rows onto the first sheet, or remove the other sheets, and import again.
